I wanted to make a film that laughs at life, yet still breaks your heart. HER SECOND ACT explores the quiet emotional lives of women at midlife, where stability and care for others often eclipse personal desire. It is both a love letter and a gentle rebellion against the silences many women learn to live with. Through subtle change, humour, and emotional honesty, the film examines agency, family, and the courage it takes to choose movement when stillness feels safer.
